Today I am sharing my second card this month for CRAFT A SCENE, the challenge is Anything in the great outdoors. We would love to have you all join us in this challenge! I have used an old favourite set from SU, lovely as a tree. The background is made with Tim Holtz inks, dusty concord, milled lavender, dried marigold, sqeeuzed lemonade and memento london fog. I then sprayed it with Tim Holtz gold glimmermist. The sentiment is a great verse for us to remember, stamp from Clear Dollar Stamps. Some ribbon, gold Viva pearls a border from Fiskars, oh and the birds from Stampscapes to finish off the card.
Please come check out the great cards from the other design team members!! Have a great day, Anja

This is a card I made for a very special lady Sheila, owner of SGD !!! A lot of us at the store signed it! I had the pleasure to make the card, the dp is from Echo Park, butterflies from Martha Stewart, sentiment from Hero Arts, and the flowers are rolled up flowers from MFT, after I made them, I sprayed them with glimmermist, love that effect. The embossing folder used here is seeing spots. Let`s hope we brightened her day!!
Till next time, Anja

Anything in the great outdoors....that is our challenge this month over at CRAFT A SCENE! So come and join us and show us your scenery cards!
I had so much fun making this card, I am even gonna teach this one at a class at SGD. I build the scenery with Heartfelt Creations scenery builders set and Art Impression stamps. The deer are from a Memory Box die. The embossing folder at the bottom is from Darice, floss from Sew Easy.
Let me tell you what I did, I coloured the stamps with Tim Holtz markers on watercolour paper and then I took a brush with a little bit of water and watered down the ink. I really like this effect, you do it step by step using the heat gun to dry one colour before you move on to the next one. Here is a list of the markers: walnut stain, peeled paint, vintage photo, crushed olive, forest moss, tumbled glass.
Please check out the site today and check out the beautiful work from the designers! Come and play with us if you like, we would love to have you join us! Have fun, Anja
