Here is my second card for the challenge over at Craft a Scene. This month the theme is silhouettes. For my card, I combined the moon with a silhouette, see, all the things I have learned, lol! I started with punching out a circle for the moon, put it on a piece of white cardstock with removable tape and got out my Tim Holtz's distress inks. Here is a list of the colours I used:
antique linen, old paper, pumice stone, brushed corderoy, frayed burlap, vintage photo and walnut stain
Then, I sprayed it with water, wiped it with paper towel and added some more walnut stain, sprayed and wiped again , added some more antique linen.
I stamped the image, Penny Black wintersky, with black Versafine, I then sprayed it all with an acrylic sealer. The black background is a die from Spellbinders, Lace Doily motifs, sentiment from Just Rite. Some scored lines to finish it off.
Come and play with us, there is a prize to win! Thanks for looking, Anja

Yesterday I got to spend some time in my craft room! Finally got to play with some things I got at the garage sale...This card is made with a Unity Stamp, sentiment from Clear Dollar Stamps and the dp is retired, I believe, it's from WeRMemory Makers. I got to use some twine, love it! Oh, and a button, have a jar full, just sitting there. I like how it turned out, hope you do too! Have a great day, and thanks for stopping by, Anja

A new challenge is starting over at Craft a Scene, and this time it is silhouette. Did I even spell that right? Hope so.... The design team got a set of digi stamps and made a card with them. Caroline Rawcliffe is our sponsor this month, so a big thank you for her!! You can check out her stamps here.
The stamps are beautiful and the possibilities endless! Now, I am not good at the computer, it took me some time and a lot of help from the boys but I did it!!! So if you have never tried the digi stamps, if I can do it, anybody can, LOL!!
About the card, I used the stars in a circle and the tree branch from the digi stamps. Embossing folder from Crafts too, Nestabilities, sentiment from Clear Dollar stamps, MS borderpunch and the bird is a Marianne Design die. Ribbon from my stash and some silver Viva pearls to finish it off. Check out the cards made by the design team and join us in this challenge if you like!!
Have a great day, Anja
