Missing my craft time....

Today I finally got 20 minutes in my craft room.....time just flies by!
The image is from SU, I got this idea from Kim Teasdale, I am doing her on line course and she showed us how to do this faux watercolouring. It's been a while I did this technique but I think it's beautiful. And after not having any craft time for a couple of days, it was time to make a real
Anja card, pink, green, flowers and bling, LOL!
I am off again to go pick up my son from volleyball, he made the team, yippee!!
Thanks for stopping by, Anja

Second post today....whoooooooooooooo wants to play, CIC17

Whoooooooooo wants to play???? That's what they want to know over at Clear Dollar stamps, for the challenge CIC 17, it's all about the owl and/or their habitat.
Check out the details HERE.
I haven't played with my Clear Dollar Stamps for a while, so it's high time I do so!!
Since I don't have any owls from CDS, I looked through my collection and came across this stamp, no brand, no name, it's also a bargain from the garage sale from SGD.
The owl is watercoloured with Tombo's, dp from Basic Grey, branches from a punch from SU,
border from a MS borderpunch, bling and buttons from my own collection, die from Nellie Snellen. The sentiment is from Clear Dollar stamps from a set called Kid's encouragement.
Different colours for me, that's for sure, but I like the card.
Have a great evening and thanks for looking, Anja

Stamp barn flowers

Last night, after we spend the day at the Plowing Match, I was sooooooo tired but I really wanted to colour and make a card, maybe I should have gone to bed....
Anyhow, I have used this stamp from the Stampbarn, I got it at the last garage sale at SGD and by the way there is another one coming up, the out the website for some awesome deals.
The image is coloured with Tombo's and the dp is from Memory Keepers, I look at the card myself, and I think.....it's one of those......do I really like it?
But I made a card and today I am sharing it with you.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by, Anja

Popcorn the bear

For you from Popcorn the bear! She is quite big to be on this size card but that's not her fault,LOL! Coloured with Prisma's and Gamsol, stickled up and paired up with some dp from Basic Grey. When I was finished colouring, I wasn't sure....but I have to say, it starts to grow on me.
The butterfly is a die from Joy craft.
Thanks for looking and enjoy your day, we are off to the Plowing match, Anja

Baby card

A baby card from the Popcorn Bear, coloured with Prisma's and Gamsol.
It's not that I haven't done any work in my stamp room, but a lot of stuff is only half finished.....
I have coloured the image with the colours used on the package, love the look of it.
It can be used for a boy or a girl, always handy.
The sentiment is from Verve, fits perfect on the punches from SU.
Hope to be back soon with more to show, thanks for looking, Anja

Stampavie boy and girl

I picked up this cute stamp when Sheila from SGD had it on sale this week, such a cute image! She shouldn't keep having those great sales, LOL!!!
From one of the ladies, who came to the Make and Take, I have learned a lot of things about colouring with the Prisma's. So I couldn't wait to try it out and this is my result.
The card size is 6x6 and the dp from Basic Grey, sentiment from Hero, ribbon out of my own collection and some bling and stickles.
Since school started, life is back to being busy, like normal, you feel like you have to squeeze in some stamp time, but I am not worried, I'll keep working on it.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by, Anja

Welcome home

A Welcome home card for a friend who went to Holland to see family and friends, I don't think she is looking so I am gonna share this card today.
It's a 6 x 6 card, love all the room you have. The frame is from Cuttlebug, one that cuts and embosses at the same time, lots of detail. The flowers are from Just Rite, watercoloured with Tombo's, stickled up, cut out and Flowersoft in the middle. The text I have also made with Just Rite, a MS border and a bow made with the bowmaker, I used my heatgun very carefully on the ends so now they are nice and curly. The flowers are all poppep up, and some even twice.
I am really happy with this card, I hope it makes her happy too!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by, Anja

I have followed the tutorial on Splitcoast, it's not hard at all but you probable knew that already.
I am off to pick up my son from volleyball, he is really hoping he will make the team, that will mean lots of driving for me!

On a Penny Black roll....

I couldn't wait taking a picture till the stickles were dry, I should have...see the little smudge in the right bottom corner? I was lucky enough that I could still fix it, grrr, hate it when that happens.
It's another Penny Black card, told you, I can't put them away, too much fun.
The sentiment is from SU, borderpunch from EK, Nestabilities, some bling, stickles and flower punches. The present and the little flowers are popped up, the image is again watercoloured with Tombo's.
If you click on the picture, you get a better idea.
Thanks for looking, have a great day, Anja

Mix and match

Penny Black stamps are all over my work table, I keep colouring them, they are so nice. This image is from the set Wonderful and I followed the colours they had used for this stamp on the package. Couldn't decide on a borderpunch... so I have used 3 in total.
Oh, and some new Nestabilities, I had saved a gift certificate from my birthday and I have used it now to buy some of the new ones.
The image is watercoloured with Tombo's and then stickled up. The grass border along the bottom is 2 pieces of border and the 2nd one is popped up.
I am wondering when I will get some quality stamping time, it feels like I have a minute here and there.....you would think with the boys back in school...so I keep my fingers crossed, maybe tomorrow?
Have a great evening and thanks for stopping by, Anja

Flowergirl from Pergamano

When I found this set at Novi I was really excited, I know it doesn't take much, LOL! I haven't seen them anywhere else...yet.
So of course I had to have them! Tonight I got a chance to finish this card, the kids went back to school today so life should be getting a little more organized with maybe some more stamping time. The image is watercoloured with Tombo's and the colour combo is very unusual for me.
The little girl is cut out and popped up, I like this effect. I cut the image out with Labels 11, the biggest one so there was nothing left to mat it with, so I cut out the biggest size again and put the scalloped sides on the top and bottom, now it looks like a circle.
Some stickles had to be added and the sentiment is from my collection, sorry don't remember the name. Ribbon from my ribbon box.
That's all I have to say about the card, I am off to bed, it will take some time to get used to being up so early again.
Have a great night and thanks for stopping by, Anja

Penny Black Challenge

Today I have a Penny Black card to share with you, a different size for once, the card measures 5 1/2 x 5 1/2. I finally got some bigger envelopes so now I can even send those bigger cards, LOL!
This card is for the challenge over at the Penny Black blog, check it out HERE.
The colours to use are purple, cream and brown.
The stamp I used is from the set called Wonderful and that's what all those stamps are from Penny Black, just wonderful!
The sentiment is from Hero, perfect for this little label punch. The little label and flowers are popped up with some dimensionals. The image is watercoloured with Tombo's.
Some cinnamon stickles and a MS border punch and the scorpal to make the frame around it, hard to see in the picture, if you click on it, you get a better idea.
To finish it off, I put some bling in the corners. I am happy with my card, hope you like it too!
Have a great weekend, and thanks for stopping by, Anja

Penny Black flowers

A different colour combo this time, no pink and no green, LOL!
I was cleaning up again in my craft room, yes again, and I had this punch in my hand....had to make a card with it. You have to click on the picture to get a better look.
The stamp is from Penny Black, some stickels, sentiment and bling. Voila, love it when it seems to come together so easily.
Have a great day, thanks for stopping by, Anja

December birthday card and one more Dutch card...

It is sooooooooo hot and humid here that being able to stay inside is such a blessing!

Usually this time of the year you want to enjoy every bit of nice and sunny weather because before you know...winter will be here, but not now, too hot and too humid.

I have 2 cards to share today, the first one is a birthday card made with Just Rite stamps, as I worked on it and added the flowers, I think it's perfect for a special friend who has a birthday in December, those flowers remind me of pointsettas. It has to be for someone special because I have added a border of tatting, made by my friend Ingrid. She has send me some of her beautiful work, I am very careful not to waste it!!

The second card is another Dutch card, pretty basic. The border is from Martha Stewart, I coloured it watercolour crayons and stickled it up.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day, Anja
