Purrfect day!

After a couple of "purrfect" days, scrapbooking that is, I am back in to cardmaking!
Last week was a busy week, getting ready for a weekend of scrapbooking, teaching a class at SGD, a date with my husband........lots of fun and laughter!
Today I made this card for a special young lady who has a birthday coming up.
I have used a stampset from Penny Black and coloured it with my Prismacolour pencils, and I have to say, I like my colouring. It's most likely not perfect but those pencils are so nice to work with.
Hope she likes it too, have a great day and thanks for stopping by, Anja

My other pink card

This was the first card I made for CDSWCC think pink, but after it was done I realized that I didn't really follow the "instructions" so...........
The flowers are coloured with Prisma colour pencils, they work really nice, I had tried a few before and last week I bought the whole set, yes, all 120 of them! I feel like a little girl back in Kindergarden with a new box of pencils LOL!
Hope this card will brighten your day since it is a rainy, dark day here where we live!
Take care and thanks for stopping by, Anja

Baby boy card

Hope you like my baby boy card! I really like it myself, so you know!
Again, it's a pretty basic card. The cute little bear is from the Dollar Store and the sentiment, welcome little one, is from Verve stamps.
Some ribbon, silver stickles, silver dots, voila, another card.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by, Anja

CDSWCC40. think pink!

Blogger isn't doing as I want to!! Grrr, very frustrating, I have tried many times to get this picture right but it's not gonna happen. Sorry! Anyway, this card is for another weekly challenge from Clear Dollar Stamps, you can check it out here:
http://www.papercraftplanet.com:80/group/cleardollarstampsllcweekendcolorchallenge/forum/topic/show?id=2076575%3ATopic%3A705261 Visit and make a card too, if you like.
This is actually my third card, I will show the other ones later, the first 2 had green in them, and since that wasn't a colour for the challenge, I made another card.
It's pink and lots of pink in honour of Cancer Awareness Month!! What a great cause!!
Thanks for stopping by, Anja

Babies and a quick thank you card!

A quick thank you card made with the rest of the dp I had used in the card from yesterday. The little gemstones were the finishing touch, I thought.

Hope you all got to enjoy some of the sunshine today, I just came home from a nice walk. You should be reading, a walk on a gravel road with lots of gravel...not so nice to walk on but the view was amazing, we have 3 baby lama's now and they were playing along the creek. And then the amazing fall colours, beautiful. Enjoy your day, Anja

A quick card!

This morning I made this quick card from some scraps on my table.
I always come back to this layout, it seems to work for me.
I have decorated the inside too but forget to take a picture, it has a verse an a strip of the dp along the border.
Have a great day, Anja

High Hopes sheep

A birthday card for my neighbour who loves her sheep and blue is her favourite colour.
So when I saw this cute sheep from High Hopes I thought about her. The flower is not exactly the colour I wanted it to be but I had to make it work. The rest is pretty basic.
Thanks for stopping by, Anja

Finally another post.....

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!!!
I can't believe it's been a week with no stamping for me....
so I am very happy that today I had a chance to stamp. It's almost time to turn the oven on and start preparing our Thanksgiving meal, we do it today because tomorrow the beans might come of and boys have to go back to college....too busy. I have to admit that I don't really do a turkey, those things scare me, really they do, so thankfully M&M is there to help me out.
Now about my card, it's for another challenge from Clear Dollar Stamps, this week's host is Lisa and you can check it out here: http://www.papercraftplanet.com/group/cleardollarstampsllcweekendcolorchallenge/forum/topics/clear-dollar-stamps-weekend-22

I haven't used a lot of more mustard but it's there and for the silver you have to look at the embossing and the brads. The set used is called: Thankful for you, very fitting for this weekend.
The flowers are coloured with twinkling H2O's so they sparkle nice but it's hard to see in the picture.
Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by, Anja

CDSWCC39, what a pane.....

That's how I feel tonight, that it is for sure a pane to get older.....
I just wish I had a little more time to play in another Clear Dollar Stamps
Weekend Colour Challenge, you can check it out here:
http://www.papercraftplanet.com/group/cleardollarstampsllcweekendcolorchallenge/forum/topic/show?id=2076575%3ATopic%3A689499

This weekend we have our annual Fair and between the boys' involvement in 4H, my DH a director for the fair and the cold and rainy weather.....there is no stamping time and that on National Card Making Day! So tonight was my only chance to stamp, and since I am so tired my eyes are in need of a pair of reading glasses and they were upstairs.....
Enough complaining, we did have lots of fun today, and my card.... does look better IRL with all the stickles and that's all I have to say about it, LOL!
Thanks for stopping by, Anja
