Go bold with colours, ssnotime39!

Last night with the storm going outside I had fun stamping in my space, it makes me happy just to sit there. I have tried to do Sharon's challenge, you had to use bold
colours, unusual for you, www.notimetostamp.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com
This card is for a friend, once in a while we make a card for each other just for fun and it has been a while since I did that for her. We are gonna see her today at the wedding so I made her a card. Cameo coral and amythist, I have never put those colours together, it started with a package of flower brads and then it grew.
I like it, it is a simple card, fitting for the challenge I think.
Have a nice day and thanks for looking, Anja

Kazan sketch 2, second try

I went outside (in the rain) on the porch and I took another picture to show off my card better.

A new sketch, Kazan sketch 2

My friend Tetsy told me about this new site with sketches,
www.2sketches4you.blogspot.com
So I checked it out, so nice........this is their second sketch and I got to play.
Stamps from Inkadinkadoo, paper from Hobby Lobby, some stickles, gemstones, paper piercing and some flowers.
I am not quite sure about my card, the picture is not the greatest, it is so dark outside and a storm is rolling in.
Have a nice weekend and thanks for looking, Anja

Wedding card

Saturday we are going to a wedding and this is the card I have made for it.
Those colours were used in the invitation.
This is my second try to put the card on my blog, hope it goes on okay now.
The stamps are from Inkadinkadoo, the oval is a Nestabilitie die, love those dies.
I really like how it turned out, hope you do too, enjoy your evening, Anja

Three days behind........

My intentions are really good, trying to post a card every day, but life just gets in the way.
Anyway this is my Father's day card, I have used Stampscapes stamps.
You can see I really am in a hurry, have to get dinner ready and then meeting to go to.
So just turn your head, sorry.
Have a nice evening and thanks for stopping by, Anja

A card for Monday

The card I am posting today wasn't created today. I have used this one in one of my classes, altough I did have some time to stamp this morning with friends I really didn't create anything new. I am just working on my pile with stuff that needs to be done, some things that I started but never finished. I am sure you all know what I am talking about. Lots of plans not enough time.
So that's it for today, no more time to stamp, just some housework that needs to be done. Have a great day, Anja

Beate's weekend challenge

Hope you are all having a great Sunday. Wow, it is so hot here! Today after church I went to the cool basement and sat down to play with another weekend challenge(51) from Beate, check out her wonderful blog www.beate.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com
This card is for my friend Lauri and I am pretty sure she doesn't visit my blog, so I can safely put the card here.
I have used this colourcombo already this week but I really like it.
So this is what I made, stamps from CTMH and Penny Black, paper from SU.
Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by, Anja

Another thank you card and I have used sketch challenge 179, it is sure nice and cool in my stamp space. Too bad I cann't sit there all day.
The stamps are from SU, cardstock from SU and Hobby Lobby, ribbon from ?, metallic dots from Joanne's.
Is there too much pink on this card?
I don't know, it is done and I will just move on to the next one.
On my way to pick up kids, enjoy your day, Anja

Another thank you card

Early this morning I sat down and made another thank you card.
I don't have more time but I really would like to post one card a day.
That shouldn't be too hard!!
I am working on thank you cards for the teachers and bus driver, last year I gave them all a package with some cards and I am hoping to do that again.
Now I really have to unpack my groceries and pick up the kids. Thanks for looking and stay cool, Anja

A different colour combo

While I was cleaning my house I was thinking about this sketch from Kay Kalthoff,
www.stampingtoshare.blogspot.com
I love doing those challenges, I have never put those colours together.
Elegant eggplant, basic grey, almost amethyst and wild wasabi.
The stampset is from My Favorite Things, silver stickles and some gemstones, ribbon and paper piercing, it all came together.
I am pleased with it. Thanks for looking, Anja

The right time......again........

Okay, today I am really trying to change the time so that it is correct.
I am such a computer dummy, but I am hoping I did it now.
I am finishing cleaning my house and then I hope to have some stamp time left.

Acrylic paint card

Last night I quickly made this card.
I have used my acrylic paint dabbers on the back of a piece of acetate(I first stamped the image on the acetate with Stazon).
The paper (Hobby Lobby) has a nice texture and all the paper was in my scrap folder.
It is a very simple card but I do like that for a sympathy card.
The stamp is from Chapel Road Artstamps and the saying from SU.
Thanks for stopping by, Anja

Teal and real red

This morning I made this card for another challenge, Taylored expressions cupcake challenge #18. You can find it on her blog,
I was a little late but I still did it.
Stamps are from Inkadinkadoo and the saying from Hero arts. Some silver stickles in the centre of the flowers and I have used my silver stardust pen too. The small scalloped circle is popped up.
Dp from CM, the rest of the paper is SU.
TFL, enjoy your day, Anja

Beate's weekend challenge

As I have mentioned before, I love to do some of the challenges of all those talented ladies out there.
This one is for Beate's weekend sketch challenge 50, her work is beautiful.
You can check it out on her blog www.beate.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com
I have used this colour combo a lot lately, but I really like this card myself.
Not sure if the saying is in the right spot but I kind of run out of room.
Stamps from Inkadinkadoo, coloured with tombo markers and twinkling H2O's.
Ribbon from Michaels, cardstock from Hobby Lobby.
This card is for one of the teachers, I am trying to be on top of the end of the schoolyear.
So I better get back to my stampspace to make some more. Have a good day and thanks for looking, Anja

A cuttlebug card

I haven't posted any cards this week, there was just no time for stamping. So I am very excited that I got a change today to sit at my table and stamp......so relaxing.
This card was actually not done today, it was one of six cards I had prepared to do in a workshop.
It is pretty simple, cool caribean and garden green together.
CB was used for the background, some ribbon out of my pile, and stamps and ink from SU.
I thought it turned out nice for a birthday boy.
TFL, Anja
